Current Events > A problem I'm currently having with streaming services.

Every home show (think HGTV) is hosted by millennial rich kids who are just being shuttled around to incredibly vacation destinations and all they do is talk about how pretty the sights are and how lucky they are to be able to experience all these locations and cultures while basically just rubbing it in the audiences face.

And all I can think about is how these kids probably blew through the shows per diem in a day, complained to the show runners for not giving them more, then phoned their parents to put more money into their personal accounts.

I know Im a misanthrope.

i agree that those people and shows are terrible but what does this have to do with streaming services?

My bad I shouldve gotten to that.

Networks like HGTV already have terrible hosts/personalities for the home shows, but places like Netflix and Hulu said We can top that shit for way less money. and they did. Its like Great Value HGTV.
