Poll of the Day > I had a date last night and didn't even know it

So asked out a long time friend or to go to a wine tasting, so we did and then went to the bar after and then back to her place to smoke and chill bit longer. I thought it was just friends hanging out like usual, seeing as we have done similar things over the years but today she said it was a date. I guess I should have took the cuddling and constant compliments/laughs as a sign.

Honestly if I knew it was a date I probably would have fucked it up but just glad to have a fun night.

I dont think thered be anything wrong with letting her know that you had a great time and think shes cool, that way she knows youd be down to go on another date or hang out

We've been close friends for years, so I think she knows that but yeah, we have tentative plans for a 2nd date and I got a bottle of the wine we both liked at the tasting

Yeah we'll probably make the wine tastings a regular thing seeing as I get them for free and we both enjoyed doing that

We hung out tonight and finished off that bottle of wine. It was a nice night.

She seems to want to take it slow and I'm fine with that, it's not like waiting a little bit longer after years of waiting
