Like, I have zero hype for this Shang-Chi movie

Not saying it'll be bad or anything, I just don't give a shit. Also doesn't help that I have no clue who this is.
Granted, GotG was a pleasant surprise that featured a gang of C-list characters nobody cared about, but that was also 7 years ago.

The comics are better for both DC and Marvel.

I'm the opposite. Not really into Marvel that much but Shang-Chi looks cool. Last movies I really liked from Marvel were Strange and Black Panther

It's important not to get too involved in superhero comics. The characters, for the most part, are not realistic, and the plots rarely hold water. If you want to get into superhero comics, the best way is to read a good, well-written work, that has action, and a great, imaginative premise, but doesn't stray too far away from reality. For example, Batman, Wolverine, Superman, Spider-Man, etc. These characters may be fictional, but their actions and story arcs rarely seem farfetched to us.

Superman is one of the most popular superheroes, and one of the best written. Clark Kent, or "Superman", is a reporter and investigative reporter for the Daily Planet in the city of Metropolis, in Kansas. He works for owner, owner of the Daily Planet, and his editor, Perry White. Clark Kent can do things other people can't. No matter what situation he is in, there's a high probability that, by using his x-ray vision, he will be able to defeat his adversaries.

Did you know who John McClain, Neo or dozens of other action heroes were before seeing the films?

Does the movie/trailers look interesting to you or no?

yeah the "i don't know who this is" critique never lands in my opinion.

At least GotG had a lot of characters, so even if you're not drawn to Crisp Rat you might like the other crew members. Shang Chi is just a single Kung Fu dude... how is that a super power?

It's fine to not give a shit about Marvel, the franchise has almost zero artistic merit and is ultimately pointless.

Having said that, I'm looking forward to Shang Chi.

I'm hyped for the movie, not hyped for having to risk a virus to watch it. I wish they'd do the same thing they did with Black Widow.

I think I've seen all of the Xmen movies, and both Deadpool movies, the Wolverine ones

I want Wolverine in Deadpool 3
