50-year-old Stevenson called the COVID vaccine a government conspiracy.

A lot of people think the shot is how they were going to track people, the government tracks people or theyre trying to take too much control, Young said.
She said Stevenson believed medical professionals were under government authority. He also believed the number of COVID deaths was inflated by the government and that many of those deaths claimed to be from the virus were by other causes.

Even after his own father died of COVID in April, he still didnt get vaccinated.

Two months later, Stevenson was admitted into the hospital, now a victim of the virus himself.

Within 48 hours of being admitted, he wished he would have got the shot because he was already that miserable, Young shared. His body was hurting. He couldnt breathe. He wished he would have gotten it.

We really need to improve the education system in the United States. The stupidity is actually killing people.

It honestly really bugs me how weird the "government is trying to track me with the vaccine" is.

The government can straight up know your location, turn on your camera, and listen to your speech through a cellphone. That is a much more efficient and practical way to track someone than some master plan of putting microchips(?) or whatever they believe in someone's body.

I just started a new job, in the middle of virtual training where a lot of times other new employees including me will get broken up into groups. There was a 60-year-old lady that told us she wasn't going to take that poison, and then casually brought up the fact that she had covid a while back and it was a two and a half month recovery.

My nephew's dad might barely make it through COVID-19. He still refused to get the vaccine, and now he's got a bad case of it, especially for only being 27 and relatively healthy. His brother still refuses to get it.

Amazing

I'm too depressed about all this to dunk on this guy. To at least some extent he trusted his leaders (in politics and the community) and many of them have decided to stoke his fears for money and notoriety. There is legit scum out there lying through their teeth with anti vax talking points while they were the very first in line to get a vaccine. That's what really makes me angry these days.

Why do I have a feeling trump had a lot to do with all the covid deniers

After Stevensons death on August 3, one of his sons who was also choosing to not get vaccinated, finally went and got the shot.
