You're in the afterlife, your soul completely free from your physical form, yet literally every single aspect of both Heaven and Hell is contingent upon you experiencing them with a physical form, and despite being separate dimensions beyond comprehension, they're very easily and vividly described using nothing but Earth-related things as points of reference.

In celtic paganism, it's referred to as the other world, and it's basically a paradise that's earthlike but there's no sickness or hunger, and everyone retains their youth. Pretty cool.

I remember a teacher (maybe a science teacher, I don't really remember who exactly) at one of my schools explaining that, based on how bright Heaven is described as being, it would technically be hotter than hell, then they explained it away by saying more or less that it's fine because in heaven you wouldn't feel the heat but in hell you would, despite there being nothing anywhere in the bible to even remotely validate that. Which is just as well because everything's made up and the points don't matter to begin with

(I didn't go to public school, I was at a private Catholic-run school until 8th grade and a Baptist-run high school, which is why religion was pretty much never allowed NOT to be mentioned, rather than the other way around)

People going to Heaven are supposedly getting a new body, and people going to Hell are supposedly gonna experience burning in flames hotter than any natural fire for all eternity, something normal bodies would simply be reduced to ash in. Topic doesn't work.

That's not how it works. You go to Hell if, out of all the religions on Earth, none of which have solid evidence proving them and most, including this one, have very strong evidence against them (which by the religion's logic, must have been put there by the same God who sends you to Hell if you "fall for it"), you don't pick the single right one.
