Yea they make bank. Night shift is worth it too. Extra money, less traffic and most patients are asleep. You just have to make sure they arent dead.

even in NYC? what is the max salary of a nurse in her range in NYC?it depends on the nursing degree. a crna (is like an anesthesiologist) will make 300k. a nurse practitioner (2 years of med school essentially, and works essentially as a permanent resident physician) will make up to 200k (average is like 160k) a bachelors RN will make upwards of 140k and even higher if they climb the ladder and become managers, but that usually requires a masters to get into managerial roles. just remember...nurses make this money working 3 days a week. ... Yeah, my wife makes 200k working 3 days per week (12 hour shifts) . The downside is women are huge bitches to each other so you'll be hearing a lot of venting from your nurse gf/wife.
