Yeah, Delphox being part Psychic type, and has a higher special attack vs Machamps Special Defense, and a higher speed, it does lean towards Delphox.

Plugging in the top sets for each on showdown's damage calculator, delphox hits machamp for about 65% with psychic and then gets 1-shot by stone edge.

Can machamp learn sucker punch? otherwise foxxy.

Delphox is pretty good in terms of stats. High Special Attack, fast but can barely take a hit. It's abilities or item selection aren't anything to talk about. Psychic and Psyshock make great choice for taking advantage of STAB and Machamp's weakness. It has access to Will-O-Wisp though it's gotta watch out for Machamp's Guts ability turning that burn into an advantage instead of a debilitation.

Machamp is decently bulky, hits hard but quite slow. It has access to two great abilities in Guts and No Guard. Machamp can make pretty good use of Assault Vest or can use Flame Orb to activate Guts while protecting itself from other major status effects like Toxic or Sleep. Machamp gets access to a few options for exploiting weakness if it manages to survive which are Payback, Darkest Lariat, and Earthquake which unfortunately neither are STAB.

Assault Vest can makes it hard for Delphox to OHKO Machamp with Psychic but Psyshock going through Defense instead of Sp. Def makes Delphox a lot trickier to counter. Also Assault Vest makes it impossible for Machamp to OHKO Delphox without a Guts boost.

As bulky as Machamp is, Machamp's mind and body gets fried either way.

Cant promise, if the app I am using can randomize the second round, I will. Otherwise it will be winner match 1 vs winner match 2. And so on

Coming down to speed and levels, it's Delphox most of time.

Machamp has access to Earthquake, but unless he tanks the first hit, it won't matter.

A quick claw, or anything that would let Machamp go first would be deadly to Delphox.
