redlem 08/16/21 5:47:27 AM #17:	I did not like James Spader as Ultron which is weird as I think he is a very good villain and usually like him as an actor but I think this is his only voice over role and it just did not work for me, it did not help the part had terrible dialogue. I also thought it odd that right from the start Ultron was using slang and phrases and just sounded human where it would seem he should be more robotic at the start and as he got closer to being Vision he sounded more human. Master Kazuya 08/16/21 5:48:06 AM #18:	Ultron as a character had a lot of potential, and this was Marvel's chance to step it up and give us a complicated villain, but they play him so simple. It literally does not make sense that wiping out humanity would save it and I don't think the movie did a good job justifying that. If it truly is Tony Stark's mind, it makes even less sense that that's the case because those aren't his intentions, even deep down. It's intentionally skewed just to make a villain. And if the mind stone has to do with it, thats even further of a stretch because why would an objective galactic stone take a subjective side. I never really liked Vision too much, he's boring. Wanda is also boring but it's not really the actors' fault; they really didn't care to give these characters any uniqueness or charm. Hawkeye, Falcon, or War Machine don't have their own movie but they still have a better and more interesting role. The three scenes I liked are the dinner scene where they pick up the hammer followed by Ultron's intro, Vision handing Thor the hammer, and them talking about Mjolnir in an elevator. It's the only Avengers movie where the team isn't getting together or ~~breaking up.~~ It looks much better than first Avengers. Joss was still in TV mode with the first. The first movie took forever to start. There was still a strong focus on the main six. IW and EG was very crowded. The only Avenger movie without aliens as the big villians. Hulkbuster fight was great. I wish that we have gotten another Avengers movie between Ulton and Civil War. The bad... The Thor side story absolutely should have been cut. Leave that shit for the Thor 3 trailers. Ultron should have been more threatening. Let Wanda and Quicksilver be mutants! Leave their origins vague if they if any mutant mentions are banned by Fox. He's supposed to be this cataclysmic global threat, but he only gets the duration of one movie to develop as a character and never really comes across as being that strong. He was too easily beaten. A villain worthy of a title like "Age of Ultron" needs to last more than a couple of days and actually needs to deal some damage to somebody. That's why Thanos made such an impact. He got built up for a dozen movies and when he showed up he actually did something. --- I write Naruto Fanfiction.
