funnily enough, because of intimidate sharpedo cant knock out snubbull in one hit and always dies to play rough
if snubull has any defense hydro pump doesnt kill either

Snubbull's stats are pretty meh overall with it's 80 Attack being decent at best. Intimidate is an excellent ability for dealing with Sharpedo's teeth and Eviolite dulls Sharpedo's teeth even more. Play Rough takes advantage of Sharpedo's weakness as well as getting STAB.

Sharpedo is the textbook definition of a glass cannon with a great 120 Attack and respectable 95 Sp. Attack but frailer than a house of sticks. It can get either Speed Boost or Rough Skin as an ability but when you're already triple Snubbull's Speed, imitating Sonic the Hedgehog won't help so Rough Skin is the better choice here especially when Snubbull is all bite and no bark. Sharpedo also gets a Mega Evolution and also gains Strong Jaws as an ability but gives up it's item slot to do so. Poison Jab and Poison Fang are Sharpedo's only ways to exploit Snubbull's weakness but also has Hydro Pump up it's sleeve.

Because of Snubbull's Intimidate and Eviolite, Sharpedo has to be more reliant on it's Special Attack to do any real damage even if Sharpedo Mega Evolves. Investing in HP and Attack allows Snubbull to survive any of Sharpedo's attacks and bite back even harder OHKOing Sharpedo.

Snubbull is my choice for this one.
