WB is weirdly, bizarrely possessive of a lot of its properties, Batman most of all, because it's afraid audiences will get confused when there are two different versions of the same character. It's why there hasn't been a live action Batman show since Adam West's. One of the biggest faults is constantly adding to people that know their secret identity. They can fill a small town with people who know who they are, and it works to the show's detriment. Flash S1 was perfect when it was just Barry, Wells, Kaitlin, and Cisco. Whereas Arrow worked fantastic with just Diggle, Felicity, and Ollie. Roy was a nice addition too. But the show just KEEPS adding to the roster. I only watched a few of the lex luthor episodes of super girl cause thanks to 2 and half men I felt the casting choice was ridiculous. They coulda done better but he did far better than I expected.
