I've had terrible luck with Tartaglia's artifacts. I've probably done two weeks of running that domain and he's still using a 4 star helm because I haven't gotten a single 5 star Heart of Depth crit helm with EITHER stat.

I know, right? I figured that I'd get better gear for him while farming for Ayaka's Blizzard set, but despite getting a surprisingly amazing set of gear for Ayaka, I got basically nothing for Tartaglia. Half the time, no HoD gear even drops. It's so weird, almost seems rigged.

Finally starting to run out of furniture to craft (after building enough to have one of every set out at once).

For those who have a full courtyard, how many walls did you need to build?

I dont have any walls up at all, actually. I have a few outdoor sets, a couple of companions, a dog or two and a few farming spots.

Mihoyo really needs to fix the load amounts. It still feels really Spartan to me.

Actually, I'd say Mihoyo did a good job instead.
This is just how the system works. Just like how freeze will make water solid, Kokomi's burst makes water solid for her.

It's like using Tartaglia's skill and jumping off a cliff with no stamina.

Done collecting Crystal Marrow, so I randomly went and lv90'd Sayu and Sucrose. Now all my anemos are lv90.
Yay 1.6 elemental reaction buffs.

At this point I have no reason whatsoever to roll for anemo, pyro, cryo, electro characters anymore.
Buff Kokomi plz Mihoyo so that I have hydro covered to. And give me a cute shieldbreaker geo loli!

The Sayu dream is almost over. I'm almost at 70+ pulls into Yoimiya banner and no sign of her yet. Might be able to squeeze in one more 4* before I have to stop for the Raiden Shogun.

Any recs for Electro Traveler? I've got her at 7 / 6 / 11 and it's pretty hard to fit her on a team because she doesn't really feel any role very well, but surely they had a certain combat style in mind

Essentially they're garbage and Geo Traveler remains the only usable traveler. Very disappointing. They don't even have an elemental hit on the basic attack chain like Anemo / Geo. They're meant to be a battery but they're also bad at being a battery.

I know She's free but there's lots of other free characters that we get that aren't even remotely as shitty as Electro traveler. Kaeya is high Tier. Xiangling is highest DPS after Ganyu. Noelle and Barbara are both great units. Lisa is also good if you build her properly. Amber is the only free one that sucks as bad as the Traveler.

Well I've found that electro traveler with favonius sword pairs very well with Eula. Better at making superconduct reactions than Fischl or Beidou and speeds up her energy regeneration quite a bit.

The streak is alive boys. Managed to get Sayu as the last 4* before I hit pity. I'm like 72 pulls into Yoimiya banner so now I get to rest easy until Baal comes out now. Also this new Theater Mecahnicus is pretty fun. Maybe the gambling addict in me just likes rerolling for the different buffs.

They haven't. I enjoyed the new one.

Big difference is...

Old:
grind to level up towers permanently, towers are slow and expensive to set up but afterward you can just go afk coz they don't need you.

New:
your towers always start at 0, with each level up you gain more starting funds and improvements for the randomized upgrade system. It is easy to build your whole tower set-up on the first wave, but it will suck. Then you build up funds to roll the upgrade gacha, keep upgrading towers until they tear any and everything apart.

Short version...
Old: More grindy, but afterward you can just afk.
New: Much more active, you focus on 1 tower type and then spend your whole time rolling the gacha for buffs.

I prefer the new one. Sure, luck is involved, but after you level up a few times, you consistently get what you need to tear apart enemies with your towers. It's more satisfying than just afk-ing and it's very fast-paced.

IIRC Trav-E's most important constellations cannot be used until 2.1

So yeah, way too early to judge. Wait a bit more.

IIRC the main issues are that she seems to be bad at restoring her own burst's energy, her damage doesn't compare to Fischl & Beidou. But she can apparently easily supply the energy-hungriest character Noelle's burst.

I'm thinking of raising her later for Kokomi, but I'm too busy enjoying Sayu right now. Upgrading Ayaka, Sayu, Sucrose one after another put a small dent on my resources.

Ayaka's freeze locking goes insanely well with her "kill anything in one button press" burst. I love playing her so much.

A warning to people who wanna invest into Sayu...she might be a bit hungry on resources.

As far as I can tell with VV4 ATK, ATK, Crit, 400+ EM, she benefits quite a lot from reaching lv90. Elemental mastery main stats with crit balance substats are also incredibly rare if you want to C6 her.

Totally worth it though, it is extremely fun steamrolling groups of 2 or more enemies with her skill.

The Helper Team's recommendation for support Sayu seems to be ready.

Sayu does more damage with EM builds and heals more with ATK hybrid builds, Healing Bonus hat can be used for better heals while maintaining respectable damage. Note that Sayu wants a large amount of energy recharge when used as the only anemo slot on the team (200%ish).

I'm completely out of everything right now so it looks like it's just leylines and crystal farming until Raiden Shogun.

The Inazuma leylines have a pretty good chance to spawn Fatui Agents and Ruin Sentinel which I'm always short in.

I'm starting to get Tartaglia's gear where it needs to be and he's really taking off in DPS. I just wish he didn't have such high investment requirements to get there. Reminds me of Noelle in that regard.

Tartaglia's talent scaling is weighted so heavily at the end, too.

After 75 pulls, the 5-star pull rate goes way up. 90 pulls = Guaranteed 5-Star

Initially, a five-star pull is a 50/50 chance to get the featured banner character
If you win the 50/50, the next 5-star is 50/50
If you lose the 50/50, the next 5-star is guaranteed to be the featured character

It doesn't matter when you pull the five star, it does the 50/50 system. So if you're really lucky and pull a banner character and then immediately pull a non-banner character, your next one is guaranteed to be the banner character. And this holds over to future banners.
