Especially since the clouds were moving, with occasional gaps to let the moon shine brighter. Couldn't help but to stay out for a few minutes admiring the view. I think I could even see the moon moving across the sky. They've announced the remastered classic GTA trilogy, which is supposed to have some gameplay updates on top of the usual graphical updates. All they've confirmed is GTAV-style aiming and driving controls, and being able to bring up the full map to set custom markers (which 3 and VC couldn't do), but I'm hoping they added mission checkpoints and instant retries if you fail. MegamanXfan21xx 10/26/21 1:37:08 AM #331:	Finished Alan Wake Remastered and its expansions. Despite some minor annoyances and a couple rough spots, it was worth the 11-year wait. The atmosphere of both the day and night sections were great, I loved the small-town atmosphere of Bright Falls, the story was solid, and most of the time, the combat was fun, what with you having to keep track of multiple enemies, if they were vulnerable to bullets yet, whether to use a flare or flashbang, and mashing the reload button to reload faster. The only real downsides came from some rather unfair fights where you'll die at least twice before figuring out what to do. The worst one was where you confront a kidnapper, you only have a flashlight (which makes enemies vulnerable), he only has a gun which he obviously doesn't want to give you, and the two of you have to fight off an enemy ambush, shining the light on them to make them vulnerable while he shoots them. Unfortunately, he's a bad shot, will waste shots on invulnerable enemies, and the gun is a revolver, so it doesn't have great capacity. All you get is the weakest flashlight type and some road flares that act as a temporary means of repulsion for some breathing room. And you can't turn down the difficulty mid-game, either. If the kidnapper wasn't invulnerable, this section would have been impossible. Another thing that sucks is that enemies are kind of relentless. They'll often do multiple-hit attacks, and you don't have all that much health. They can throw things at you with no warning that can be hard to see. And the game does basically nothing to warn you of enemies behind you. You just have to be constantly looking around, lest you get surprised by some cheap shots. Also don't like that there's no visible stamina indicator. With how tough some encounters can get, you'll definitely want to just run, but you'll get tired if you run too long. You can extend how long you can run by finding coffee thermoses, but the game doesn't tell you that. Overall, it's like a really good dish with a couple moldy spots in it. You'll have to eat the mold if you order it, but the unpleasantness will soon be forgotten. They'll often do multiple-hit attacks, and you don't have all that much health. They can throw things at you with no warning that can be hard to see. And the game does basically nothing to warn you of enemies behind you. You just have to be constantly looking around, lest you get surprised by some cheap shots. Also don't like that there's no visible stamina indicator. With how tough some encounters can get, you'll definitely want to just run, but you'll get tired if you run too long. You can extend how long you can run by finding coffee thermoses, but the game doesn't tell you that. Overall, it's like a really good dish with a couple moldy spots in it.
