Well?

I've voted in person once, in 2012.

It took less than 10 minutes iirc

But I lived in a county of less than 23,000 people

14000 person town. 4 precincts. Never a line as you would expect with these numbers.

Never had to wait or line up. Lived in various places from a big city to a small town. All perfectly fine and easy.

This is in the UK though.

When I lived in a democratic stronghold, the longest was about 6 hours. Ever since moving to cult land, the longest was about 5 minutes.

Its not about just standing in line. You also have travel time to and from wherever it is the votes are held.

I said under 15 minutes but it's rare that I've voted in person; mail-in ballots have been a thing where I live for a long time.

30-60. Some years back there was one in Baltimore County Maryland where we had to fill out our ballot which was almost instant...but then we had to wait almost an hour to put them through this machine. There were only like 3 machines for the entire place and one of them wasn't working. So a huge bottleneck was created. A nonsensical setup. I wasn't even there at a horrendously busy time.

Like 10 mins maybe. It's usually more of a pain in the ass to find parking where I vote. But they do a pretty good job of getting in and out so things don't get too backed up.

I have never waited more than five minutes. Last time I voted, I used a mail-in ballot. I dont ever see myself voting again, though, especially not for presidential election. Vote blue locally and dont vote federally.

I did early voting and showed up about 30 mins before the polls opened. I was done about 45 minutes after they opened.

The first time I voted it was election day and it was a lot faster.
