He wants to open an English school (we dont live in America). I told him Id help, but I can only do so much. He never has a clear plan and he does the bare minimum. He got his friend to make him a logo, and some guy MIGHT be investing money.
However, multiple friends have told him that he doesnt know what he is getting into. I agree. He doesnt know the legal hurdles, amount of money needed, and how competitive it is. anyway, i help him when i can with curriculum and stuff like that. He complains that i could be working with him in a school if i helped him more, but what the hell can i do? I have no money, i dont know anything about business, and my knowledge is in education, not owning a company. He sends me a passive aggressive text today when he guilt tripped me for not helping enough last year. I told him that he didnt have enough for me to even begin making anything. I flat out said he needs to start or it will go nowhere. Then he became defensive and projected a lot of weird stuff about walking on eggshells around me. The guy has shown a lot of mental instability before, so he does make me weary. how do i even reply to this guy. Suggest he meet with a business consultant, that they'd be better equipped to help him start his business.

Your "friend" sounds like he wants to take advantage of your connection to pressure you into being cheap labor for his gain.

Which begs the question, why hasnt anything been made? And the friends i did talk to were so,e guy who doesnt work and inherited a ton of money from his dad, and some guy who said he only wanted to hire employees for three weeks out of the month so they can travel the country.
