Console wars still rage, these days the warriors use Digital Foundry manufactured ammo and argue about 1080 Vs 4k and 120fps Vs 60fps.
Some days people argue for hours that a few FPS dips are proof that PS5 sucks or is superior. I CBA with it tbh, I just bought a Series S at launch for me too play Minecraft and Stardew and for my daughter to play Roblox and whatever she wants on Gamepass. --- Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah... the console wars were an idiotic race to the bottom. securing timed "exclusives", one upping each other on subscription services by adding more subscription services, endless amount of trend chasing that die as fast as they pop up etc... fucking motion controls xd even an internal platform war like epic's struggle against steam has been nothing but stupid: https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/epic-has-sunk-dollar500m-into-the-epic-games-store-doesnt-expect-to-make-a-profit-until-2027/ money that could have been spent developing a healthy library of games before trying to take on the king of digital platforms at a time when others are making games available on steam again like EA. --- ...
