It's not completely frozen. It was only in the freezer for about 4 hours. It was still very solid though. Roughly the same you could find at coldstone.

I've made all different kinds and this one was by far the best one that I've made. They're worth it. I use it several times a week. I'm never buying ice cream again.

Yes you can make ice cream in a plastic bag and a pot full of ice. I don't recommend it though unless churning butter by hand for a hour is your idea of a good time.
