I'm just watching Kipo on Netflix.
I'm only on episode 7, but, one of the main characters just came out as gay.
It wasn't a big deal, but I thought it was well handled.
I don't know if he gets into a relationship later on in the series tho.

And, thinking about it, in Netflix She-Ra, Bow has 2 dads.

And in Pinkie Malinky one of the characters has 3 Dads, but they're not seen that often in the show.

And thinking further..
One of the characters in Big Mouth is gay and he has several relationships.

And the cops, Bluffs and Durland in Gravity Falls, they were a gay couple all through the series.

And one of the characters in Loud House has 2 dads too. (I don't watch loud house, my daughter does, I don't know how featured they are but I know they're there)

Lesbian relationships tend to be accepted far more favourably by the cisgendered & heterosexual crowd as a whole. For some reason, if its a relationship between two girls they find it less confronting. A lot less backlash than if a creator includes a relationship between two men, for sure.

there are some but not as many

bow has 2 dads and is bisexual in she-ra

seahawk is bisexual as well

willow in the owl house has 2 dads

kipo has a gay male main character

transformers has a few gay males in the comics thoe none currently in animation but still feel like mentioning it

not a kids show but still major to geek culture we have alucard in castlevania who is bisexual

but yea over all it is lacking i agree but its more fair to say gay men are just moving at a slower pace than not getting reprsentation at all (Still a problem just making sure the discussion is on the right track)

Actually, now that I posted that, I remember that in The Dragon Prince, Rayla's adopted parents are also a gay couple.
