I didn't break but I sprained my wrist pretty badly during the...fourth year I've been riding. Sometimes falls happen so fast that you forget to land properly or can't react quickly enough ;(

But yeah I love snowboarding. If anyone wants to learn and is scared of falling, I'd maybe do some research to your local mountain and go when the powder is freshest. That way the falls don't hurt so much. I've been on some icy slopes and it suckssss

I miss it so much. I used to ride a ton and was actually very good twenty years ago. I could land 7s when 9s and tens were winning contests. Then I moved to Florida and went from riding 40-70 days a year to 5, if Im lucky.

I have turned to wake boarding down here but its not close to the same and way more expensive. Nothing compares to the feeing of getting first tracks after a dump and just being completely in the moment.

Thankfully it wasnt too bad of a break, but it did shorten up my season dramatically.

Still got like 10-15 days, but not nearly enough with the season pass

I live in Ohio, so basically nothing but ice and groomers. Cant wait to travel a bit to see some powder.

ive heard skiing is easier to learn, but it freaks me out. How do you not end up doing the splits lol

Problem is Id be only able to go once maybe twice a year max so Ive never wanted to invest the money for such a small window
