Have you tried getting a prescription for sleeping pills or tried taking Melatonin if that's not an option?

Not that I know of. I've had insomnia for most of my life. I'm pretty anxious about the drive, lack of sleep, and the actual tests they're gonna do to her and what the results could be. She has lung cancer and they're doing a body scan thing to see if it has spread. Just pretty scared I guess

Yes. Doesn't work for me. Always have to keep going up in strength on meds because my body gets used to them so fast. Melatonin aint doing anything tonight. I even drank a sleepy seltzer with it

Yeah same here. I rarely have insomnia nearly as bad as you get it though.

I remember being on zoplicone or zopiclone or whatever its called and that barely did shit after a little while and god the taste it left in my mouth was horrible. Just metallic and awful but it wasn't from swallowing the pill it was a weird side effect that lasted all night.

Do not do this TC. I struggled with insomnia most of my life and eventually got a prescription and I ended up forming a dependency on it where if I didn't take it, it was impossible for me to sleep that night. Without a doubt those were the worst years of my life. However bad you think the insomnia is, I assure you drugs are worse.

I had this problem for quite a while. I'd wake up with panic attacks and couldn't get back to sleep. Went through a few meds until my doctor suggested Seroquel.

That shit will knock you out within minutes and also curbs the anxiety. I only take 25mg before bed and sleep like a baby, sometimes without waking up at all until the alarm goes off.

My internal clock will not let me sleep at night much; I end up staying up into the AM, they're my most productive hours as well. Sometimes I can get on a 'wake up at 5 AM' schedule and maintain it for awhile, but eventually I revert to the 'stay up til 4 wake up at 10'. I work nights so it isn't a big deal, but still.

Yeah it's weird. Even working 8-5's I would still stay up til 3 AM or so, sometimes later. You drag yourself in, sweat out the hangover and drink over a gallon of water by day's end in the 94 degree shop in the summer. In winter you pretty well freeze unless the boss gets cold so they turn on the giant turbine heater. Usually a nap follows, you snag an extra two hours or so and then spend a few hours at the gfs doing social stuff. Rinse repeat all week for a few years til you get too burned out.

Now I am sipping whiskey and working on the mix for this track while my savings dwindle and I look for some more part time stuff.

It always starts kinda small. Like seeing black shadows out the corner of your eye

Anyway I slept 2 or 3 hours. Maybe talking about it helped
