Which would you choose?

21st century includes music that is yet to be released or hasn't been made yet.

I originally thought this was going to mean both of the two, but not earlier, like... uhh, who is listening to much from before? I mean classical exists for sure but I don't think a ton of people listen to that, or at least it's easy to give up in comparison.

Of course just about everything was "made" in the 20th and 21st if we're talking recorded, which begs the question, can 21st century covers of 20th century songs be allowed here?

So we have access to 2050s music off the bat? That means we can plagiarize that stuff and make $$$.

I believe the crux of the question is, are you okay with listening to old music but never be able to listen to any future music ever again?

21st century of course. There's so many genres that exist now that didn't exist in 1999 and music from older genres is STILL being made. I think people forget that just because a genre isn't popular anymore doesn't mean it's dead.

Theres a lot of modern stuff that I like, including my favorite band, but I spend a lot more time listening to music from last century. And Ive barely even scratched the surface of stuff that came out back then. So Id go with the 20th century
