wearing clothes you like isn't a hobby man, unless you make these clothes yourself or something it's just not a hobby lol, nor is picking em out of a store, same with watches, maybe you like watches but they're not a hobby, they're just things you like to own

I do research into fit, materials, construction, design, color matching, pattern matching and put together the outfits myself. How is that not a hobby?

For watches, I do research into the movements, brand history, measurements, complications etc

You will have to explain what your criteria is for what qualifies as a hobby. Regardless, there is no universe in which what I do with clothes/watches doesn't qualify

that is many words to say that you pick out fancy stuff you like hahaha

you might want to find a hobby that actually makes you an interesting person to talk to btw, would help with your pick up endeavor, at least if you ever plan to do much than just bland pick up boring chicks

Interesting that you didn't answer the question: how do you define what qualifies as a hobby?

Probably because you already know that no matter how you define it, clothes will count

And no need to get misogynistic, the girls I date are lovely women

nothing misogynistic about what I said, funny you say that too given the PUA community is inherently misogynistic

but yeah there needs to be an action for something to be a hobby, you could say collecting watches is a hobby, or making clothes is a hobby, simply saying "watches, clothes" just don't cut it

It's amazing to me how narrow-minded some people are

What I do with clothes is on an entirely different level than what you do with clothes

The sole act of putting on clothes does not make them a hobby

What I do with clothes makes them a hobby

I drive a car every day...they are not a hobby

Cars are definitely a hobby for a lot of people

Assuming girls are bland because they sleep with me isn't misogynistic? There is very little misogynistic about the PUA community nowadays, its entirely centered around understanding women

I say "clothes" because I only have so many words in the topic title. As I explained in depth, there is a lot I do with them

I need to research, shop, find good deals, make sure the items fit, tailor them, and put together outfits

Literally every one of those are "actions"

Just because you grab random items and throw them on, doesn't mean others aren't more intentional with their clothing

Just because you don't understand how to do them at a mentally challenging or stimulating level doesn't mean they aren't

My friend thinks pokemon is for kids because it isn't mentally challenging or stimulating. But that's only because he's unaware of competitive pokemon, with the IVs and EVs, etc

There's an entire world in there you're unaware of (either purposefully or due to ignorance)

Doesn't mean it couldn't be a challenging and stimulating world if you wanted to get into it

Please clarify what "meaningful" things you are referring to

Just because I am interested in aesthetic things doesn't mean I only exclusively care about aesthetic things

The way we look and present ourselves to the world is infinitely important and I aim to be able to do that at a top tier level

agree to disagree, looking nice and presenting yourself is fine, but it's far from "infinitely important", all the people I know obsessed with their image (like you seem to be? correct me if I'm wrong) are deeply insecure

also by more meaningful things I'm talking about developing actual meaningful relationships, not toxic ones, self-actualization, spirituality, really so many things that are unrelated to aesthetics, aesthetics are okay but it's still just the surface, it's like the bare minimum aside from eating and sleeping lol

I'm a pick up artist...looking good is a huge part of being appealing to women. So yeah, it is very important to me. Not out of insecurity, not out of vanity/shallowness...but to aid me in accurately reflecting my inner confidence, catching female attention and being able to execute my craft in hobby #3

I talk about my relationships with my family all the time here. Don't get along with my parents. Do with my sister and I hang with her kids quite often (and do make topics about it). All my best friends are pick up artists. I'm not dating anyone atm (got dumped twice since vacinated) luckily I have the skills to go out and meet someone new

I've already self actualized everything I want out of life and talk about it frequently. I have the job I'm going to retire with, the condo I'm gonna die in...what more is there?

And I don't believe in spirituality, I'm a hardcore atheist

It requires a lot more work and hustle with uncertainty, in a field I have 0 professional experience in

Whereas I work 16 hours a wk and I'm overpaid by 50% of the national average in engineering

Same reason I'm not a pick up artist coach, nba employee, travel blogger or any of a million other things
