When I was back in the US a month ago nobody was wearing masks and private businesses were offering $10-20 gift cards for getting the vaccine, so obviously a maskless life (and, yknow, not dying or causing others to die) isnt enough of an incentive as it is.

The incentive for me was to not die.
I've been too lax about the mask wearing, since my job no longer requires them for vaccinated people. Gonna start making more effort to wear one in public, as I did before the mandate was lifted. ... Copied to Clipboard!

My Facebook feed has been filled with people saying they took the vaccine for nothing since they still have to wear a mask.
