Glad I finally got around to playing these with the ridiculous $19.99 deal for all 3.

I honestly like them just as much as Uncharted, maybe more gameplaywise, though Uncharted has the better characters/setpieces.

I've only played the first one, but I really enjoyed it.

one thing that I really appreciated about it was Lara's sense of progression, and I don't mean just as a character, but the weapon and item upgrades, too.

just being able to revisit areas on that island was really cool.

I also love that she is the opposite of Drake, where Drake almost falls and/or gets seriously injured but makes it at the last second, but Lara almost MAKES it but then the thing breaks and she falls and gets destroyed.

Her getting her absolute ass kicked the entire game really makes it feel like weve gone through Hell by the end.

I enjoyed the first game more than the second. They went way too hard into the collecting resources and crafting stuff. I like them much more than Uncharted, though.

Still have yet to play the third reboot game.

even tho it reminded me of Uncharted way too much in terms of gameplay and that cinematic feel, i still enjoyed them.

and yes, im fully aware there would be no Uncharted if it wasnt for Tomb Raider but still... lol

I haven't played the third one yet, but the first two were a lot of fun. The stories were super lousy and I still prefer OG Lara, but I enjoyed the experience and even played the first one twice, which I haven't done with a game in a long time.

Should she have cried after all of them? She knew she was in a kill or be killed situation at that point.

It's good, but I really wish it didn't have so much padding "content". Tomb Raider 2013 was great though.

I felt the same way. The third one just got a ps5 patch and it was "free" not long ago, so I might give it a shot.

I tried to play one tomb raider game, it seemed generic, boring and utterly lifeless with characters devoid of any charm or interest. So I dropped it immediately. I really wanted to like it too since I thought it was just Uncharted but with a woman
