That doesn't even make sense. Are those battles as unimportant as his cereal from last year, or does he truly cherish those memories? Screams of a comic book writer trying write deeper material than he's capable of.

And because of his perception of time, he wouldn't know if the Avengers will still be around or have died from old age the next time he visits earth since years would feel like seconds to him.
