Terry Pratchett fans, don't you agree that his books always had trouble ending on a satisfactory note?

The man could sure push out an incredible volume of witty aphorisms but struggled with tying together a satisfying narrative at the end.

I thought it ended fine. A little bit open ended in the "the adventure continues" sort of way, but that's not a bad thing.

There's going to be a second season, so maybe that'll be more to your liking.

Is Neil Gaiman good at writing endings? Ive only read American Gods and the main thing I remember about the ending is that I was glad the book was over.

jk IIRC the ending was one of the highlights of what was otherwise a very boring book

Man I have the complete opposite opinion. I didn't think the ending was bad, but the I thought the book was at its strongest in the beginning and middle of the story.

But yeah, I thought the ending of Good Omens was fine.

I mean... what were you hoping for? Honestly I recall the arcs of all the characters either wrapping up nicely or leaving them open-ended (which would be a requirement in the case of the supernatural beings),
