I just thought about this. Think about all the people that are truly obsessed. They hate the moderators. They make discords or go to Reddit to talk shit about how bad CE is with the people/moderators. Especially if they get suspended/banned. Stuff like that.

Not stopping to think that maybe living on the internet, to the point where they see everyone who doesn't share their views as being a "problem", might be contributing to said depression and not having any real friends to hang out with?

I think you're conflating different kinds of issues, because it doesn't make sense to think that everyone should treat all issues equally. Like, what specific views are you considering here? Because depression is a lot more sympathetic than bigotry.

Also, tunnel vision on viewpoints have been around long, long before the internet. Like, at least as long as religion has been around.

This is such a general post and literally means nothing. You just say "oh so many people on CE..." Obviously everyone is flawed and I've never seen anyone on either side claim their POV is perfect, but feeling victimized or mad because people think your opinion sucks is just as whiny as you claim "left-leaning" CE is.

Also Guide above me makes a solid point about the severity of different issues, but I'm also not about to debate people that still think Trump is a good candidate, it's not worth it.
