if it's a cut like ribeye where the fat renders, then certainly.

strip is a bit tougher but you can still eat most of it if it isn't too thick.

My buddy ordered $600 worth of wagyu steaks for some friends of his that were in town and we experimented with cooking them a few different ways.

Usually this stuff is the most flavour and fragrant like the skin of a roast chicken. Belly of the lamb and beef is also really good. But like everything do it in moderation.

Don't want to get high cholesterol or diabetes and not get to enjoy these things later in life.

That is good because that is where the seasonings actually are at and it got crisped up. But like if it was limp unseasoned skin, then it would be absolutely disgusting.

You can also peel off the skin of the chicken and cook in pan to extract the fat. Then use the oil to make chicken fried rice. It's amazing.

I've only had the dish cooked for me. Im not a cook so I don't know the specifics.
