I've known her since about jr. high, but we've always just been friends. She had a boyfriend who went to jail before for beating her up. Apparently, he did it again, and she texted me about a week or so ago to say they broke up and said that we can talk again.

She got some tickets to a concert, but it's all the way in Alabama. We're in the southwestern U.S. She was supposed to go to the concert with her now ex, so she invited me to go with her. She's been calling me to talk about random crap (music, movies, TV shows, etc.) for the past few days.

If we go on this trip, it'll probably take multiple days to get to the concert and back. Should I go? I consider her a friend, but I would bang, tbh. I'm not looking for a relationship or anything tho, and I doubt she is either.

Well, probably not too much. She already has the tickets. If we end up driving, maybe $1,000 at most? (gas, food, the occasional motel stay, etc.) According to GPS, Alabama is about 25 hours from me, so we could make it in about 3 days if we drive a little over 8 hours per day, which isn't that bad.

She's also trying to get a job at a private jet company as a receptionist or something. She used to work at a different one not too long ago. She said if she gets the job, we might even be able to take a private jet lol. /shrug

The trip wouldn't be until November, and I could easily afford it. I work for myself, so I just have to make sure I have nothing scheduled that week.
