i don't want to sell at the minimum price because the price calculator says my tokens are unique. so they're either worthless or worth more than the minimum price

my friend who knows about this stuff blocked me because i left his server or sent him or a haruhi gif, idk he is just mad at me

All NFT are unique, that is the whole point.
Which makes their uniqueness not unique.

I think people mistook NFTs as they would enforce DRM to protect ownership rights when the fad was in full height. It doesn't and you can easily consume 99+% of the content an NFT would provide for free. I wouldn't expect most NFTs save for like the first ever when the concept was introduced to retain or grow in value. This was heavily prevalent with digital art ownership and I think most have abandoned it by now or holding out on the 1% they might make a quick buck selling it.

Without any teeth to enforce usage rights and with the NFT owners likely staying anonymous as is the case with cryptocurrency, it's just not sustainable in any meaningful way.

It might have some use cases for limited edition items within games where games permit the player to use items/skins if they own the NFT for it and players can sell the NFT off and transfer usage rights to another player that wants it. That just feels too niche for it to be mainstream though. A trading card game where every card "minted" was based on an NFT with common cards have a ton of mints while rare cards having far fewer is the easiest example to think of that would bring digital games as close to physical card games/collections as possible.
