and that the media is blowing it out of proportion since the behavior happens all the time (referring to last Sunday's soccer match).. That kind of mindset of, "It happens all the time", is exactly why this crap keeps happening. Then when I countered him, he was like, "The media is lying; it's not a race issue. It's an asshole issue". Yeah; go ahead and excuse racism.

Reminds me of when there was a viral video of Asians experiencing racism in Germany. A German redditor said "it's mostly just Turks who were being racist".

Racism, sexism , homophobia and transphobia is super common in the UK. You hear people just screaming it In the streets

and yeah Brits do lie and downplay it

Even on CE. Every time I talk about the shit I've seen I get a small gang of brits run in and squeal that it isn't true and I dont live there and not to believe me

Then once i post videos or police articles or statistics confirming everything I said was 100% accurate they vanish and the pattern repeats

The UK is Wwwaaaaaayyy more racist than the US or Germany

Sure maybe it you cherry picks parts of Mississippi and parts of Uxbridge then places are better and worse

But as a whole as a nation, racism is just casually accepted as okay in England like TC's friend said

So the racists got louder. People are lying and claiming this created racists but they were always there

To add for context, England has a long history of being shit at penalties so it's an extra sore spot for fans
