Graduations are such pointless things. preapproved speech? for who? I understand now wanting them to curse or talk about all the sex they had under the bleachers, but the speeches should be for the students, about their time in high school. these days its just all fluff for the parents and staff.

Smells more korperate. They had some pre-approved speech he was supposed to stick to. Kan't risk students having independent thoughts during these things.

Speeches have had to been approved for a long time. They had my valedictorian take something out of his speech 26 years ago.

It was a stab against the police. A guy in our class had been taken away by the police after an altercation (he wasnt even the person that started the thing) in the cafeteria. The police told him to sit and the guy said I would but theres no where for me to sit. They cuffed him for that.
