I will most likely be a red mage or else paladin or both
modern WoW sucks and the nostalgia I had hoped for in classic was replaced quickly with a 'what the fuck at how tedious this is' and FFXIV seems to be the only active MMO other than WoW ... Copied to Clipboard!

There's an unbelievable amount of stuff to do, and the fact that you can switch classes on the fly without having to make alts means that at any point if you get bored of your current class you can just switch over to another one and spend some time on that.
Plus, while some of the pre expansion story is a little dull, by the time you get caught up to the current content it is legitimately the best final fantasy story in the franchise outside of maybe FFT. --- "History Is Much Like An Endless Waltz.
