Have you ever just opened up a can of paint and painted something when nobody was looking
Haha, nope. I don't really like to paint so try to avoid it best I can
When we get new products we will expense a gallon to get a feel for them so we can recommend though. Plus any new employees can play around with mistints so they get a feel for the job.

Hardest color of paint to try and match up >_>
Any kind of painted metal is a bitch because our scanner takes a picture and picks up the reflectiveness

or err... the hardest one to try and mix? <_<
Exterior yellows are typically the worse. We have Y1 tint which is interior only and Y3 that can be used in exterior as well, but Y3 is a hold that's really muddy. That means we can't really make light yellows for outside without a yellow base which only comes in certain products which stores carry even less
So sometimes we literally can't make the paint for them

Do you sell paint for art too or just walls?

Do you sell spray paint for those graffiti artists?
We sell spray paint but it's just whatever Krylon stuff the store gets shipped
And you can use our paint for art but yeah it's all architectural and not for craft stuff

Are certain colours more expensive, or only if they're custom mixed?
We don't charge extra for different colors, you could literally buy a gallon that has zero tint in it (so it's just white) or has a half gallon of tint in it -- they'd be the same price
That being said, we do have our newest line of interior paint called 'Emerald Designer' that retails for about $100 a gallon; this new paint has exclusive colors that can only be formulated in it. So if you pick one of those colors then yeah, they would be more expensive, but only because of the product

Is pee still an ingredient in paint
Nah, we can get pigments that vivid artificially now

Turning all your walls into giant whiteboards sounds kinda fun ngl
I did it in my office so I can leave notes for my staff, worked out pretty nicely the District Manager brought it up to other store managers to consider

I would recommend Emerald Urethane, it's a waterbased paint that dries hard like a urethane enamel. If it's a dark color it can take awhile to fully cure, but it's definitely worth it
It's also $90+ / gallon, so keep that in mind
