I just got it turned off after about an hour of it doing this. The valve switch broke on me when trying to turn it off. Apparently the thing doesnt hold water well and the rust corroded the value to make it easy to break. Luckily Im in South Georgia so that isnt that often. When we know we have a freeze coming, we drop feed water throughout the house to keep the pipes from freezing. That tends to work. No I dont live with my parents.
