Depends on what you're trying to replace. When I was in America I liked the Beyond Meat stuff a lot. These days all I can get is various soy meats, but that's not bad, it just doesn't almost like the real thing like Beyond Meat does.

Nah. People don't eat meatless meats under the guise of it being healthy. They eat it because of moral objections to eating meat.

I don't think anyone ever said 'I'm against drinking carbonated beverages, so I'll try diet soda.'

Fish is meat, but if you can get over that, it is the best way to go. Just don't bread/batter/fry it all the time.

They're dumber than birds if that is any consolation.

Field Roast or Beyond. Field Roast is more natural grains n shit if youre concerned about Beyond being too trashy. Tofurkey has good lunchmeat

mushrooms and beans, you can also do interesting things with tofu. cooked right they taste meaty enough and you're not dealing with the gimmicky fake meat crap.

If you want really cheap meat replacement try TVP for ground meat and soy curls for meat chunks. If you like them you can buy them in bulk. They soak up flavor, allowing you to emulate a variety of meats by changing your seasonings. And since they are dehydrated they don't need to be stored in the fridge.

I also encourage you to try making whole foods plant-based meals that are good without needing a meat replacement.

My mom left some of that stuff behind a from her last visit so I tried it. It's actually delicious. Can't remember if it was specifically that brand but that sounds right. I just wish it weren't 5 dollars for two patties.

Oh man I forgot about this. I had a friend in America who wasn't vegan, but he got one of those Field Roast turkey things for Thanksgiving because he said it was super good. It was. Doesn't really taste like actual meat, but it does taste good.
