The shit isnt cute. The shit isnt funny. Its annoying as fuck and childish. No one wants to play fucking Uno with your random ass with $5 bets. Now people have to block a massive amount of numbers to avoid getting messages because a new group message starts every time certain people text.

For days id get messages to 50 people in my number range like "Fuck you sick fuck I'm calling the cops", "send this to my daughter's phone again and I'll kill you" etc.

The first one I got was at 3 a.m. and was very confusing.

So this does happen. I dont know what is wrong with people. Im glad mine was just stupid. I cant imagine having a daughter and some lunatic randomly sends out porn to my daughters phone

Every time someone responded, it created a new thread like you said. People kept asking "Who is this?" I kept thinking how I wanted to tell people to not respond to these damn things, but I would have to respond to do that.

Exactly. Whats crazy too is that both my brothers have numbers close to mine so they were part of the group message as well so it took me a while to figure out WTF was going on

Yeah, I remember number neighbors trending back in 2019. The phone number 1 digit above or below yours is your number neighbor. I guess people are trying to bring it back?
