I feel like I miss 75% of all missile spells because the enemy hitboxes arent super generous and dont hold my hand like other games. But the enemy has computer AI so they will never miss unless you actively dodge. Its stupid

I recall not using firebolt and ice shard (or whatever they're called) much for that exact reason. fireball and lightning bolt are a lot easier to hit with.

Honestly all the combat in Skyrim is bad and not very fun outside of stealth archer

skyrim is a very flawed game, and this is to some degree true, but magic can also be fun (though unfortunately limited in damage by default) and stealth melee can also be fun. normal melee I've rarely enjoyed.
