By theme, I mean, the type of video it is. Not specific parts to them. I know some have problems with the annoying intros/outros or some have problems with bad ad-placement or sponsors, but I'm not talking about that. I mean the theme of the entire video.

For me, it's react videos. I find them incredibly lazy typically, and knowing that these people have to force themselves to react in order to meet the whole "React-charm" also makes it worse. I, especially, find the act of taking other people's YT stuff, and reacting to it (unless you have their consent), a little gross.

There are exceptions. It can be fun if someone is reacting to a very specific video for them (again, the whole consent aspect), even if it is played up a bit. There's also the element that bigger YT'ers can help out smaller vids by doing this, but I suppose typically, they choose already mainstream viral videos for their react stuff.

I'm not on tiktok, and can only hope it doesn't spread to YT. That does sound horrible.

I don't generally like most of the tiktok stuff I have seen.

These and sadly (this is a real thing) fake animal rescue where in fact the uploader is faking the situation (and even abusing animals in the process) for money. Some of the animals are in fact dying in the process.

Those obviously fake restoration vids.

Some Chinese guy finds a laptop buried in mud and restored the entire thing to like new condition. Including shit like scrubbing the hard drive platter with a tooth brush and hitting it with a can of spray paint for the finishing touch

Camera-up-the-nose rants are still the worst.

Reaction videos are just noise when trying to search for what they're reacting about.

There are a few reaction channels that put in effort. I also think if you are just reacting to a tv show or movie, that's a bit different than reacting to other youtube videos.

I don't watch things I have no interest in, so I'm not really sure what I would dislike the most. React seems dumb tho
