And on it it said make sure you are vaccinated against Covid-19, and then below it it had a picture with a heading that said Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19). The problem is, people forgot the whole meaning of Covid-19. They thought the 19 should actually be 21 and was a typo and were all "lol at the state for being this wrong" or that clearly the virus is a scam because how could it have the number "2019" in it. I thought it was common knowledge because people tried to argue the same dumb shit in 2020 like "Why is it called Covid-19" when it's 2020. As you point out though, it's a close relative of SARS, which is part of the reason a vax was developed relatively quickly. They just had to connect the dots between the two very close viruses.
