do you think he is correct? I know people of all races have pets but tbh a lot of white people seem to have the biggest obsession with it. And pet ownership is usually a sign of massive privilege seeing that they literally for some reason are wealthy enough to devote time and resources to a literal animal.

That's dumb af. My dog is a great companion and a rescue; I feel like I can take him anywhere because he looks like such a tough customer no one bothers me, even though he's a sweet heart. Bit of a nutcase but I've gone through a fuck ton of trouble for him as well.

I like dogs because they bring me joy, the training part is fuckin boring and tedious and I've never had to train one before this aside from knowing to boom boom and pee pee outside. Oh and they've all gotten to sleep in the bed as well. I had one dog I could let roam the neighborhood at night and he always came back; old and half blind pekingnese with a gimp leg, he wasn't capable of hurting anyone or anything.
