Current Events > Been watching Naruto for the first time

Currently in the Sora arc of Shippuden. I know it's filler but I'm watching everything. I think most of the filler has good premises, but drags on for two long. I'd prefer 2 or three short arcs to a 1 long one. The filler arcs remind me of the pokemon movies for some reason. Also Sai a shit.

I never had a problem with the filler. My problem was later in the show when entire episodes were flash backs of stuff we'd already seen 8 times. That's when I had to look up a watch guide.

If you have the DVD/BRs you can watch them at 2x speed, which helps. If you're watching it on Prime/Hulu/Whatever, I'm sure there are Plugins that can let you watch videos at 2x speed as well.

Also, I have to ask since it does happen to me a lot during this show. Have you cried at all yet? The whole ending the[Not spoilers for you] Grandma Pupetmaster really got me, and it just continues to deliver latter.

Not the TC but Naruto never really struck me as a tearjerker series, Gaara's backstory in the original series might have come closest but that's about it. What other moments made you cry?

Pretty sure I skipped like 1/3 of Shippuden cause I refused to watch filler anymore. Honestly I wanted to drop it altogether but I had watched so much already I felt obligated to finish it

I finished Shippuden but haven't paid attention to Boruto or The Last so you're good for the main series. I probably won't care that much about spoilers for what comes afterwards.
