Do you know who James Hinks was? May want to do some reading to learn why they are not comparable to pits.

But as a freebie, EBT's are consistently rated among the BEST dogs for families. You literally damn near have to train a BT to be people aggressive.

The Bull Terrier was bred for vermin control and blood sports (i.e dog fighting)

Also btw, APBTs were literally bred for non human aggression, due to safety reasons in the fighting pit.

While BT's were used for bull and bear baiting, James Hinks found it disgusting and repurposed the breed in the 1860's by painstakingly breeding all aggression out of them. His intent was to create the perfect "gentleman's companion".
Bullys are loyal, intelligent, and adore humans. The only real "danger" they pose is knocking people over playing. They are amazing with children. Modern bull terriers have very, very little in common with the breed before Hinks' efforts. In fact, the white collie used to create them is now extinct.

You should read the entire article before speaking and embarassing yourself. EBT's are among the highest rated dogs for being safe around children and generally have virtually no aggression towards people. Can't say the same about shitbulls.

It's still a Bull and Terrier, Bulldogs and terriers will likely be animal aggressive and/or dog aggressive, that's almost a given considering what they were bred for. The degree to how "hot" a dog is though varies with each individual dog.

And how many Bull Terriers are around, compared to the literal millions of Pit Bulls and bull breed mixes running around? In 35 years I've only met 2 EBTs, they are pretty rare and aren't the targets of unscrupulous breeders.

The breed is typically dog aggressive and has a strong prey drive, and requires training and socialization just like every other dog.
