I'm not sure, but for what it's worth anecdotally I find that people who aren't very good at or used to writing tend to do that as a way to mark emphasis.

At my business we ask for proof of vaccination on entry if someone is adamant against our mask policy.

Well, I was wondering about before the pandemic. Were masks allowed everywhere? I guess if you wore a mask, people would be suspicious of you being up to no good and hiding your identity.
Will there be a time when we go back to that, and I won't be able to wear one if I still want to?

yeah, wonder if there will be any changes. But I guess there have been some examples of people still getting identified even though theyre wearing masks. Probably not as common obviously.
