I had so many ODs today and literally all of them have been 2 per call. Like we revive one and literally a civilian will run up to us and be like "Yo dawgs! There's another one around the corner lol" >_>

And these mofo ain't springing up after 2mg either. We're giving them fucking 6mg and they still take forever to wake up >_> Some dealer must've whipped up a strong batch or something

When the first stimulus check hit here, in the TN mountains, we had lie 9 people die of meth overdoses the same week a lot of people got their checks from the government. Pretty sure they got their money, bought a ton of meth and a lot of them overdid it.

As the population continues to rise, we will keep seeing more and more of this. Doctors pass out OC and hydrocodone like candy on Halloween and people get so addicted that when the prescription is taken away, they keep chasing the high.

They buy the pills illegally on the street and when they cant find it, they just use heroin. Its the same story with adderall and crystal meth.

If we forced pharmaceutical companies to develop effective pain medicines that werent opioids, then there would be fewer people turning to heroin. Nobody wakes up and says, Im bored maybe Ill become a heroin junkie today. Its basically victims of the pharmaceutical companies and certain doctors/nurses.

Lots of money all at once means in increase in demand, which is met with an increase in supply - especially so if the demand is for illicit goods.

lol when I got my wisdom teeth removed, the doctor gave me a month's supply of percs. I was like "Uhhhhhh this seems like overkill >_>" and he said "heh heh, enjoy it"

I took like 2 and threw the rest out. That stuff is dangerous

if you're getting a lot of ODs it could likely be a bad batch. drug use per capita is one of the steadier things, it doesn't ebb and flow. Regular users use regularily.
