No. That's mildly annoying; but that's the kind of thing that can easily be shrugged off. It's more their attitude and greed that's the problem. I don't think I've ever met a boomer who wasn't a total arrogant fuck. Some are just better than others at acting nice most of the time, but the mask always comes off eventually.

Boomers are the last completely analog generation left thats not completely decrepit. Probably the last time such a shift between one generation and later iterations was so palpable was around the start of the original industrial revolution in England.

There's a big difference between boomers - where the problem is that they're arrogant, can never admit when they're in the wrong, whinge about how everyone else "doesn't work hard" yet literally demands everything be handed to them exactly how they want it - and, say, Gen X who yeah, can certianly be annoying and cringey at times but are, for the most part, ultimately good people.

Boomers grew up in an Era when parenting methods were focused on discipline and respect by hitting and condescending and talking down to. So when they get older they feel like they're at the top of the totem pole and command respect from younger people. These days kids are raised with respect and modern methods. It doesn't mean they don't respect their elders, they respect people based on who they are not their age and most boomers are trash. That's why they get so irked. We just have to wait for them to die off honestly

It's not as simple as saying its a "next generation hating the last one" issue.

People were calling out the narcissism and "got mine, fuck everybody else" attitude of baby boomers even back in the 70s.

It's like Youtube. It has a lot of popular fake creators that just do whatevers popular with a mixture of genuine people making genuine content. But I have no interest in exploring it's depths. Youtube is my prefered vibe.

Whereas everyone born between 1946 and 1964, anywhere, is/was exactly the same because they were all born into, grew up in, and lived through identical socioeconomic circumstances, without any class, racial, cultural or political differences between them. Sure. That's why every single one of them had identical outcomes and outlooks in their lives. Because obviously, it's just the decade that you're born in that defines where you came from, and who and what you were, are, and will be.
