I miss playing games. I had to tone back a bit to focus on work and life. When I find the time, I really want to play through the new Wolfenstein games again. But I keep up with the drawing stuff pretty constantly. I like sitting around and coming up with these whacky characters.

coincidently i am a metal gear fan and its arts by yoji shinkawa. The rough textured brush drew me in for some reason. The red octopus symbolizes neonoctopus should he pursue the title of tiddy master.

I really want to get into the habit of experimenting with how I do colors. Someone once told me that I'm missing something to my color process that would make my stuff pop even more. I often think about that. I might spend some time watching Youtube tutorials on the subject over the weekend.

Somedays it want to work for me. Others, I want to tear my hair out because the hands or some aspect of the body just doesn't want to come out right. Thankfully, this ended up coming out fairly nicely. Anatomy is something I'm constantly trying to work on and get better at.

I guess it depends on your drawing style and what angle you're drawing it from. I don't usually go big with breast sizes or draw out nipples. While I do like to try to get down different body types, I'm mostly more of a fan of the pear body shape for women. I'm assuming that's kind of blasphemous for you >.>

I'm all about women with thighs that can crush a man's skull. Strong legs to support said frame too.

That's a big compliment. I loved Scott Pilgrim back in high school. I don't think it directly influences how I wanted to draw, but it sort of inspired the kind of characters I want to make stories around.

Thanks! I'm glad you like it :D I know 'B7' and 'banhammer' are old hat at this point, but I had to give her something to lean on for that pose and that's the first thing that came to mind, lol.

Yes, that's entirely digital. A long time ago I would do lineart in physical media with pencil and pen, then scan it into the computer for color. But after I started getting good with my graphics tablet I transitioned to working 100% in Photoshop. I've been letting myself get bogged down too much with perfectionism lately and it's absolutely crippled my workflow, so I wanted to do something quick, fun and with no reference images save your drawing in the OP (and the gamefaqs logo, of course).
