This is an actual excerpt from Wikipedia about a German politician named Marlene Mortler who is anti-cannabis:

She was criticized for incompetence, an inappropriate qualification in "rural home economics" (German: Meisterin der Lndlichen Hauswirtschaft) for the job, having a double standard (because of her promotion of alcohol consumption) and a preoccupation concerning suggestions about cannabis legalization. A main point of criticism are her justifications for the illegality of cannabis in contrast to the legality of alcohol - in interviews she stated that (translated) "in contrast to Cannabis alcohol is part of our culture" and "Because Cannabis is an illegal drug. Full stop." Due to the severe criticism, Mortler deleted her Facebook account.

Lol. Interesting. I like the ending

There are dozens of ways to deal with grief. Automatically going to drugs (even though, once again, you know it'll ruin your life because you're getting tested soon) means you're an addict.

Not it wouldn't? I mean, it would be better, because she isn't destroying her entire career, but it's still abuse and addict behavior.

The problem is ultimately on both sides of the argument
You've got certain types in society who go 'waaah weed bad' meanwhile people who smoke are mostly ok. It's the ones who think they should be allowed to have whatever job and get stoned on their own time. It doesn't work like that. It won't work like that for al ong time.

Either accept you have to pick between certain jobs or getting high or else just accept you're contributing to the problem of society thinking weed is bad.

Point to the person saying that. Cause I know it's not me. Nobody should do anything that impairs their ability to do a job well. Everyone represents who they work for and no one should look fucked up while representing their work.

A smart person?

but getting blackout drunk would be perfectly acceptable by society as long as she didn't do anything else illegal.

My point though is that by willingly getting stoned in a job that drug tests is that you are actively doing something you know you'll get in trouble for. You're helping encourage the idea that all people who smoke are just potheads who can't get the fuck outta bed without a joint in their hand.

Is it unfair? Yes. Is better to obey them and have them changed than break them and get punished while only enforcing people's stereotypical beliefs and making sure these rules stay? Yes.

Don't do that. Don't try to twist it like people have these views just to feel cool. No mature person thinks they're a rebel for supporting weed. Also, you're forced to agree to a lot pf dumb shit or immediately have your dreams stomped out in America. You guys just don't seem to care to make America the actual land of the free. You're only free if you agree to give up your freedoms over restrictions made with bad intentions to hurt other people's freedoms not even related to your situation.

Irrelevant. I realize it relates to me sating "In America". But that's only cause America was relevant. Other countries aren't. Unoess you believe we should follow other countries instead of have independent thought. You support China rewriting our rules as well?
