haha yeah the Bible has weird stories in it for sure. strange and different times O.o

generally most people just go to prayer groups or w/e for the socializing and the music. nobody really worries too much about the esoteric stuff since the important stuff is in the general attitude Jesus had

love yourself, your neighbor, and God with all your heart/mind/soul

just generally be a cool person and love people, pretty much what everyone's trying to do more of in general. my current view is that the Bible really does teach that all people are saved except those who intentionally give in to Evil even at the end, when they've been made whole. like Lucifer.

Then Judah said to Onan, Sleep with your brothers wife and fulfill your duty to her as a brother-in-law to raise up offspring for your brother. 9 But Onan knew that the child would not be his; so whenever he slept with his brothers wife, he spilled his semen on the ground to keep from providing offspring for his brother. 10 What he did was wicked in the Lords sight; so the Lord put him to death also.

i mean there's nothing really needed to trust. the stuff Jesus said is actually pretty straight forward and common knowledge. it's inspired many world leaders and political and economic frameworks for generations, including MLK and indirectly Malcom X (by how the Bible's events inspired the Quran's events which consequently inspired Malcom X)

so any curious person who is into reading as a serious reader will eventually read the entire Bible and see that Jesus' words are actually very intelligble and they make sense and there's no real need to "trust" anything there

like how do you "trust" lessons like "the greatest commandment is to love your self, your neighbor and God as best as you can", they're pretty self explanatory lululululul.

if you're talking about miracles and stuff, well, that's a complicated subject and some Christians don't really care about that stuff, others debate how relevant those things are or if it's just the moral stuff that matters, it's a wide gamut across billions of people

i dont do that cuz evangelists are the ones who have an overwhelming number of seats of power in the United States so this is my way of rebelling

its funny to tell female conservatives on Bibletok to look up Timothy 2:12
