I'd recommend these https://www.autonomous.ai/office-chairs I bought the pro+ and like it a lot. Haven't had the occasional back issues I would have before. --- If you do things right, people won't be sure that you have done anything at all. Yeah that's a fair complaint, I'm used to it now and don't notice even if I'm in it all day. But when I first bought it the first few days I was thinking I made a mistake

I had one of those really heavy plastic office chairs from the 80s, with thick corduroy casing for the whole seat and back. I loved that thing, but some fucker stole it when I was moving, and I haven't been able to find another.
