I'm just sick of it. There should be enough dope scenes in the first 45 minutes of your movie to cut a trailer. Dudes on Youtube basically figure out the entire plot of a movie just from the trailers smh.

To be fair, that would save a lot of people from having to suffer through m night shyamalan movies just to see what the twist is.

I remember Terminator Genysis being really bad about this. Like it wasn't a good movie but there was plenty of nostalgia porn to throw into the trailers instead.

2 trailers came to mind about spoiling the entire movie: SouthPaw and Terminator Genysis.

Yea. The new Suicide squad trailer is one recent example. There was no need to spoil starro. Their a team of criminals forced to do goverment dirty, complete their missions or die trying.

That's the premise and should have been the extent of them. But just like the original it seems the marketing team got afraid audiances were going to tune outbid they didnt know more I suppose.

Marvel putting out misleading trailers is actually nice. People still get hype but there's often pretty key differences.

if the experience of a movie is "spoiled" by knowing one detail from the plot, it probably wasn't worth watching to begin with

It was hilarious how in the Batman vs Superman trailer, it clearly showed Doomsday, so of course you knew that was what make Batman and Superman team up together, and then also Superman was gonna die. Such a dumb move.

Bring earplugs and look at your phone. Nobody should be hassling you for being on your phone during previews.

Endgame trailer was probably made the way it was to attone for how they fucked up Civil War and Ragnarok trailers

actually i hate stand-alone trailers , when i see a movie I look for scenes from the trailer, if not there im very disappointed

Only recent one I can think of that had a major spoiler in it was Fast 9 spoiling that Hand was alive and that actually made me want to see the movie more, so I can see how it was possible.

Teasers, tie-ins, and viral marketing are way better than trailers. Stand alone ads immerse you in the world instead of spoiling scenes.
